The Archologist
'The Archologist' is a platform produced by Thomas Lozada, a Master’s degree graduate from the Pratt Institute School of Architecture.
Its name is derived from two sources. First, it is meant to portray architecture as a field of study, subject to rigorous scrutiny from multiple disciplines. Second, it is a portmanteau of 'architecture' and 'technology,' two of its key themes. Other topics include the examination of new and diverse areas of architectural research, the effects of ubiquitous data on buildings and cities, the speculation of future architectural and urban scenarios, and the investigation of academic and professional preconceptions in architecture.
